Edit your budget

To update your Pin campaign's monthly recurring budget:

  1. Sign in at waze.com/business and enter your account.
  2. From the left panel, go to Manage Campaigns.
  3. Select the Pin campaign indicated by "PIN#Business Name".
  4. Edit the Budget field to your new monthly budget.
  5. Click Update Campaign. Note: Maximum budget per campaign is 10,000 USD.

Don't worry, if you changed the budget in the middle of the month, our system will deliver impressions relative to the number of remaining days of the month.

Make sure the new budget is higher than the current month's budget spend.
If you wish to decrease your budget to below your current spend, do it at the beginning of the following month.

About budgets & CPMs in Waze Ads

Waze Local Starter is based on a CPM (cost-per-thousand-impressions) bidding model.

To advertise on Waze Local Starter, you must meet a minimum budget of $60 USD per month. Your budget and CPM will determine the maximum number of impressions your pins could reach every month.

Impressions × CPM ÷ 1,000 = Budget                            Budget ÷ CPM × 1,000 = Impressions 

For example, for a $2 USD CPM and $60 USD budget, the maximum number of impressions is 30,000 per month. The system spreads these impressions as evenly as possible across the month.

In this example, that equates to around 1,000 impressions per day. The daily impressions are spread throughout the day and optimized based on the traffic around your business.

Your budget is shared between all locations. If you plan to advertise multiple locations, choose a budget that will be sufficient to cover them all.

When you advertise more than one location, the minimum $60 USD budget might not be enough to serve an impactful number of impressions for each location.
