Add saved places

Save your favorite destinations on Waze so you can quickly route to them. You can also set your home address and work address if you haven't already.

1. Open Waze
2. Tap the search bar
3. Tap Saved
4. Tap Add a place
5. Enter the destination you want to save
6. Tap the search icon on your mobile device's keyboard
7. Select the relevant destination
8. Enter a name for your saved place
9. Tap Done

Edit a saved place

There's no way to edit the address of a saved place. To edit the address, you'll need to delete the saved place and add it again. You can, however, edit the name of a saved place.

1. Open Waze
2. Tap the search bar
3. Tap Saved
4. Tap  next to the saved place you'd like to edit
5. Tap Rename
6. Enter a name for your saved place
7. Tap Done

Delete a saved place

1. Open Waze
2. Tap the search bar
3. Tap Saved
4. Tap  next to the saved place you'd like to delete
5. Tap Remove

How can I add a recent location as a saved place?

1. Open Waze
2. Swipe up
3. Long tap the address you want to save
4. Tap Info
5. Tap Save
6. Enter a name for your saved place
7. Tap Done

How can I add a saved place from the map?

1. Open Waze
2. Tap your destination on the map and hold until you see 
3. Tap 
4. Tap Preview location
5. Tap Save
6. Enter a name for your saved place
7. Tap Done

I don't see my saved places. What do I do?

Make sure to first connect an email address to your account and verify it. Then, follow these steps:

1. Delete Waze and reinstall it
2. Log in with your credentials

Your saved places should now reappear.

How do I transfer my saved places to a new device?

When you switch to a new device, make sure to connect an email address and verify it so that your saved places transfer over.

Once you do, you can view your saved places:

1. Open Waze on your new device
2. Tap Log in
3. Enter the email address connected to your Waze account
4. Follow the instructions to log in

Note: While your saved places transfer between devices, your recent locations do not.
