Create a new event in the Partner Hub

In the Partner Hub, you can create new events, edit existing ones, and view all your future, active or pending events. 

  1. Open the Partner Hub
  2. Click Events
  3. Click +
  4. Enter the location details:
    • Event address
    • Start date
    • End date
  5. Click Next
  6. Enter the event details:
    • Event name
    • Category
    • Description
    • Event website
    • Estimated number of participants
    • Who will upload closures to the map?
      • Select I will upload the closures to upload the closures yourself
      • Select Waze for the Waze team to upload the closures. Click Upload file to add the file for Waze to upload.
  7. Click Next
  8. Enter the parking lot details:
    • Select "No" if you don't have parking lots associated with the event or if you want to create parking lots after the event is approved
    • Select "Yes" to choose an existing parking lot associated with the event
  9. Click Save

Edit event details

  1. Open the Partner Hub
  2. Click Events
  3. Under "Future Events," find the event you want to edit
  4. Review the details of the event
  5. Click the event name
  6. Click the three dots
  7. Select Edit
  8. Make the relevant changes
  9. Click Save Changes

Add a parking lot to an existing event

  1. Open the Partner Hub
  2. Click Events
  3. Under "Future Events," select the event you want to add the parking lot to
  4. Click the Parking lots tab
  5. Click Add parking lots
  6. Select the parking lot you want to add or create a new one

Add a road closure

  1. Open the Partner Hub
  2. Click Events
  3. Under "Future Events," select the event you want to add the closure to
  4. Click the Closures tab
  5. Click Upload file. Waze will upload the closure to the map.

Create a duplicate of an event

  1. Open the Partner Hub
  2. Click Events
  3. Under "Future Events," find the event you want to edit
  4. Click the three dots
  5. Select Duplicate

Delete an event

  1. Open the Partner Hub
  2. Click Events
  3. Under "Future Events," find the event you want to edit
  4. Click the three dots
  5. Select Delete
