Holds & charges on your payment card

After any ride, Waze Carpool may put a hold on your credit or debit card for a small sum of money. This hold checks that your payment method is valid to make sure your driver gets paid.

After each successful ride, you are automatically charged. Charges appear on your statement as  GOOGLE *WAZECPL, and then the month, date, and whether the ride was morning (AM) or afternoon (PM). For example, a morning carpool on April 27th would appear as "GOOGLE *WAZECPL APR27AM". Charges may take a few days to appear on your statement.
