When browsing through bugs, suggestions and discussion forums in Waze Discuss, you will notice some community members are a part of the "Beta Leaders" group.
Beta Leaders are a group of active and experienced Beta community members who carry additional responsibilities within the community and communicate directly with staff.
What do Beta Leaders do?
- Proactively detect bugs and submit detailed reports
- Review and moderate community-submitted bugs
- Actively participate in forum discussions
- Advise new members in forum threads
- Increase local Beta community engagement
- Lead webinars
- Take part in exclusive testing projects
- Attend community Meetups
How do I become a Beta Leader?

Beta Leaders are expected to be active and engaged and to help other, less experienced community members learn and develop within the community.
