I forgot my password

If you forgot your password, you can reset it via email.

Important: If you never added an email address (or Google account) to your Waze account and verified it, you cannot reset your password. Instead, create a new Waze account and be sure to verify your email address (or connect a Google account) so you can reset your password in the future.

 

To reset your password via email:

  1. Visit our Password reset page and type in the email address you connected to your Waze account
  2. Follow the instructions sent to that email’s inbox to reset your password
  3. Open Waze and then tap Log in to use your new password

If you didn’t get a password reset email, check for typos or try other email addresses.

If you still didn’t get a password, you likely did not add an email address to your Waze account. Instead, create a new Waze account and be sure to verify your email (or connect a Google account) so you can reset your password in the future.
