Navigate with a clean air pass

Allow Waze to suggest routes for you based on your local clean air certificates.

  1. Open Waze
  2. Tap the menu icon
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Tap Toll and HOV passes
    Note:
    Name may vary by country.
  5. Tap to add a pass from the list. You can add more than one.
    Tip: Tap Show all to view all passes.

Waze will automatically guide you based on your city's clean air policy. 

Delete a clean air pass

  1. Open Waze

  2. Tap the menu icon
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Tap Toll and HOV passes
    Note: Name may vary by country.
  5. Tap Remove pass
  6. Tap Remove

Check feature availability 

Passes can vary depending on what country you're in, and can also be changed by the local authorities. 

You can use clean air passes in:
  • Austria
  • Belarus
  • Belgium - LEZ
  • Czech Republic
  • Estonia
  • France - CRIT'Air
  • Germany
  • Italy - ZTL
  • Netherlands
  • Spain
  • Switzerland
  • UK - CAZ, CCZ, LEZ and ULEZ
  • Ukraine

Note: New countries may be added to the list from time to time, according to specific country regulations.

Add a clean air pass

  1. Open Waze
  2. Tap the settings icon
  3. Tap Toll and HOV passes
    Note:
    Name may vary by country.
  4. Turn on the pass you want to add. You can add more than one. Alternatively, you can use the search bar to find a specific pass.
    Note: If you don't see your pass immediately, scroll down and tap Show more for additional options.
 Waze will automatically guide you based on your city's clean air policy.

Delete a clean air pass

  1. Open Waze
  2. Tap the settings icon
  3. Tap Toll and HOV passes
    Note:
    Name may vary by country.
  4. Tap Passes you own in the top-right corner
  5. Turn off the pass you want to remove

 

AAOS

CarPlay

Navigate with a clean air pass on CarPlay

Disconnect your device from your in-car system and add or delete passes on your phone. The changes will apply when you use Waze in your car.
