Navigate with a clean air pass

Allow Waze to suggest routes for you based on your local clean air certificates.

Using Waze in your car? Add or delete passes on your phone. The changes will apply when you use Waze in your car. If you're using Android Auto or CarPlay, make sure to disconnect your phone first.

  1. Open Waze
  2. Tap
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Tap Toll and HOV passes
    Note:
    Name may vary by country.
  5. Tap to add a pass from the list. You can add more than one.

Waze will automatically guide you based on your city's clean air policy. 

Delete a clean air pass

  1. Open Waze

  2. Tap
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Tap Toll and HOV passes
    Note: Name may vary by country.
  5. Tap Remove pass
  6. Tap Remove

Check feature availability 

Passes can vary depending on what country you're in, and can also be changed by the local authorities. 

You can use clean air passes in:
  • Austria
  • Belarus
  • Belgium - LEZ
  • Czech Republic
  • Estonia
  • France - CRIT'Air
  • Germany
  • Italy - ZTL
  • Netherlands
  • Spain
  • Switzerland
  • UK - CAZ, CCZ, LEZ and ULEZ
  • Ukraine

Note: New countries may be added to the list from time to time, according to specific country regulations.
