Issues with calendar notifications

If your notifications aren't coming through, please check the following:

Android

  1. Ensure that you have enabled the feature. Tap the Menu , then Settings . Scroll down and tap Planned drives and set Connect Calendar to On.
  2. Make sure you enabled notifications from Waze. To do so go to your device's Settings and tap Apps & Notifications > Waze > App notifications.
  3. Verify that your calendar event has a navigable address, including a street name, house number and city:
    1. Tap the Menu .
    2. Tap on the Planned tab.
    3. If a planned drive does not have an address properly set, a Set address button should appear next to it. Tap it to modify the exact address.

iOS

  1. Ensure that you have enabled the feature. Tap the Menu , then Settings . Scroll down, tap Planned drives and set Connect Calendar.
  2. Make sure you enabled notifications from Waze. To do so go to your device's Settings and tap Waze > Notifications.
  3. Verify that your calendar event has a navigable address, including a street name, house number and city:
    1. Tap the Menu .
    2. Tap Planned drives .
    3. If a planned drive does not have an address properly set, a Set address button should appear next to it. Tap it to modify the exact address.
iOS users using Waze versions 4.27 and below: Check that Location change reporting is activated.
