Set preferred gas stations

Set your fuel preferences so Waze can direct you to the relevant station when you need one.

Using Waze in your car? Set your gas station preferences on your phone. They'll apply when you use Waze in your car. If you're using Android Auto or CarPlay, make sure to disconnect your phone first.

1. Open Waze
2. Tap
3. Tap Settings
4. Tap Gas stations
5. Set your fuel preferences
   • Tap Preferred gas type and select the relevant gas type
   • Tap Preferred brand to set your favorite gas station brand

Tip: To customize how you see gas stations in search results, tap Sort stations by and select Price, Distance, or Brand.
