Drive to a phone contact

Share your phone contacts with Waze to navigate to friends and family.

Step 1: Allow access to your contacts

You only need to do this once.

1. Open Waze
2. Swipe up and tap Drive to friends and family
3. Tap Next
4. Tap Allow

Step 2: Navigate to a contact

To navigate to a contact, you must have their address saved on your phone.

1. Open Waze
2. Tap the search bar
3. Type your contact's name and tap when you see it. Waze searches for the address associated with the contact, and will show a list of addresses like a regular search. 
4. Tap the address you want to navigate to
5. Tap View routes
6. Tap Go now

Why do my contacts show up multiple times?

If you see the same contact appear more than once, you may have more than one phone number saved for them. 

How do I disable access to my contacts?

1. In your phone settings, tap Apps
2. Tap Waze
3. Tap Permissions
4. Under "Allowed", tap Contacts
5. Tap "Don't Allow"
