When you report an issue, our support team may ask you to send your debug logs to get more information. Learn more about debug logs.
Note: Debug mode is turned on automatically for Beta users. If you're a Beta user, skip to step 2.
Step 1: Turn on debug mode
- Open Waze
- Tap the search bar
- Type 2##2
- Tap the return button on your phone's keyboard
- In the message that appears, tap OK
- Close Waze
Step 2: Send your debug logs
- Open Waze
- Do the same thing in the app that didn’t work for you. Take a screenshot if you can.
- Tap
- Tap Debug
- Tap Yes and wait for a confirmation message
Step 3: Exit debug mode
- Tap the search bar
- Type 2##2
- Tap the return button on your phone's keyboard
- In the message that appears, tap OK
Submit debug logs on Apple CarPlay
Step 1: Turn on debug mode
- Disconnect your device from your in-car unit
- Open Waze
- Tap the search bar
- Type 2##2
- Tap the return button on your phone's keyboard
- In the message that appears, tap OK
- Close Waze
Step 2: Send your debug logs
- Connect your device to your in-car unit
- Do the same thing in the app that didn’t work for you. Take a screenshot if you can.
- Disconnect your device from your in-car unit
- Open Waze on your in-car unit
- Tap
- Scroll down and tap Debug
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down and tap Send logs
- Tap Yes and wait for a confirmation message
