Delete your Waze account

There are two ways to delete your account:

  • From the Waze app
  • From the Waze website dashboard online

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be reversed by the Waze team.

 

From the Waze app
  1. Tap My Waze, then Settings 
  2. Tap Account & Login 
  3. Under "Advanced" tap Delete Account.
  4. Tap to confirm. You might have to enter your login details to verify it's you.
From the Waze website
  1. Log into your Waze profile in the Dashboard.
  2. Click on Delete your account.
  3. Click to confirm your choice. You might have to enter your login details to verify it's you. 

Delete your "guest account"

If you skipped creating an account and logged in to Waze as a ‘guest’, you can delete that account:

  1. Tap My Waze, then Settings 
  2. Tap Privacy
  3. Under "Account information" tap Delete account
  4. Tap to confirm

Alternatively, you can register your guest account.
