Set a different start point

When calculating your route, Waze automatically uses your current location as the start point. To navigate from a start point that's different from your current location:

1. Open Waze
2. Tap the search bar
3. Start typing an address or name of a place. A list of results will appear.
4. Tap your desired start point
5. Tap the three dots in the right-hand corner
6. Tap Set as start point​​​​

To set your end point and navigate to your destination:

1. Tap the search bar
2. Start typing an address or name of a place. A list of results will appear.
3. Tap your end point
4. Tap View routes
5. Tap Leave later or Go now
