Tell Waze what you see during your drive and help other drivers stay safe. Waze will add your report to the map. Read more about conversational reporting.
Note: Waze may ask follow-up questions to get more information on your report.
Step 1: Turn on Talk to report
- Open Waze
- Tap
- Tap Settings
- Tap Voice and sound
- Turn on "Talk to report"
Note: You may need to grant Waze permission to use your microphone and record your voice.
Step 2: Talk to Waze to report what's on the road
- Tap
- Say what you see on the road. For example, you can say "I'm stuck in heavy traffic" or "There's a police officer up ahead."
Android Auto

Step 1: Turn on Talk to report for your car
- Open Waze
- Tap
- Tap Reporting options
- Select "Talk to report"
- Tap Next
- On your mobile device, tap While using the app
Step 2: Talk to Waze to report what's on the road
- Open Waze on your in-car system
- Tap
- Say what you see on the road. For example, you can say "I'm stuck in heavy traffic" or "There's a police officer up ahead."
- Tap Close
Android Automotive (AAOS)

This feature is currently not supported on AAOS.
CarPlay
Talk to Waze to report what's on the road on CarPlay
Step 1: Turn on Talk to report for your car
Disconnect your phone from your in-car system and turn on Talk to report on your phone. The settings will apply when you use Waze in your car.
Step 2: Talk to Waze to report what's on the road
- Open Waze on your in-car system
- Tap
- Say what you see on the road. For example, you can say "I'm stuck in heavy traffic" or "There's a police officer up ahead."
- Tap Close

Your phone's audio may be muted. Increase the volume by pressing the side button and try again.
