Continue to get directions even when your phone is locked. During this time, you’ll be able to view your route and report what you see along the way. To access all Waze features, unlock your phone.
Once your drive is over, you'll see your phone's lock screen.
Note: This feature is currently not supported on Android Auto, Android Automotive (AAOS), and CarPlay.
This feature is turned on by default. To turn it off:
- Open Waze
- Tap
- Tap Settings
- Tap General
- Turn off "Lock screen navigation"
