Use Waze in dark mode

Change your Waze display to dark mode and make it easier to read in low-light conditions.

1. Open Waze
2. Tap 
3. Tap Settings
4. Tap Map display
5. Tap Dark mode
6. Select the relevant option:
   • On: Dark mode is always turned on
   • Off: Dark mode is always turned off
   • Only at night: Dark mode turns on automatically after sunset
   • Same as phone settings: Waze matches your device's display settings

Android Auto

Use Waze in dark mode on Android Auto

Disconnect your phone from your in-car system and adjust your settings on your phone. They’ll apply when you use Waze in your car.

You can also switch to dark mode through your Android Auto settings.

Android Automotive (AAOS)

Use Waze in dark mode on AAOS

Adjust your settings on your phone. They'll apply when you use Waze in your car.

You can also switch to dark mode through your AAOS settings.

CarPlay
