Turn on voice directions

Adjust the sound settings on your device to hear voice directions as you navigate.
 

In the Waze app

  1. Open Waze
  2. Tap 
  3. Tap Settings
  4. Tap Voice and sound
  5. Make sure “Sounds” is turned on

On your phone

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. In the search bar, type “App permissions” and tap the result
  3. Look for your microphone permissions and make sure they're turned on for Waze

Note: Steps may vary per device.
