Set your Waymo app to automatically unlock the car!

Try out a new way to unlock the car — handy if you have grocery bags in your hands, a child, or both! 

To have the doors unlock automatically:

1. On iOS, make sure you’ve allowed Waymo to use Bluetooth (and that Bluetooth is on) and on Android, allow ‘Nearby devices’
2. Go to Account > Preferences > Unlock automatically to turn it on or off

The car will unlock as you approach it. Should that not happen, you can always use the button in the app — it’ll still be there. You can also turn off automatic unlocking at any time.
