Why are credits cards starting with 5187 not accepted?

My MasterCard credit card is not available for adding to Google wallet. As soon as I type 5187, I get the message that the card type is not accepted. I checked the list of accepted credit cards and it says that MasterCard is accepted. So why is my card not being accepted?
