  6. Tap or click Save.

Add a bank account

  1. Open the Wallet app or visit wallet.google.com.
  2. Tap or click Menu Menu and then Payment methods.
  3. At the bottom, tap or click Add payment method.
  4. Choose Add a bank account.
  5. Enter the routing and account numbers for your bank account. You can find this information on a check or by contacting your bank.

    •  To verify your bank information, confirm the deposit amount in your Google Wallet

Already seeing payment methods

If you paid for something through Google in the past, your card was saved by the Google payments center. These payment methods can be used with other Google products like Google Wallet.

Learn more about how Wallet works with the Google payments center.

Note: Wallet supports debit cards and bank accounts only. Credit cards saved by the Google payments center can appear in your Wallet payment methods but can’t be used with Wallet.

Problem using a card

Note: Credit cards added to your Google Account show up in Google Wallet but can’t be used. Prepaid cards also don’t work with Wallet.
