Add e-money & debit or credit cards to the Google Wallet app (Japan only)

In Japan, you can add e-money and debit or credit cards as payment methods in your Google Wallet.

Contactless payments

When you add a contactless payment method to Google Wallet, you can make purchases with your Android device in stores that support contactless payments.

  • e-money: Suica, Edy, Waon, nanaco, and PASMO
    • Most credit cards issued in Japan can be used to add money.
  • Prepaid, debit, or credit card: QUICPay, iD, VISA Touch, and Mastercard Tap & Go

For third-party payment apps that use Google Accounts, like iD, QUICPay, Mobile Suica, and Mobile PASMO, use the same Google Account that you use in Google Wallet.

Your device must run Android 9 or higher to use payment cards. To use e-money, QUICPay, and iD cards, you’ll need an Android device that supports Osaifu-Keitai.
