Find transactions for your cards in the Google Wallet app

Important: You can only find transactions after you add a card to Google Wallet. For a full history of your debit and credit cards transactions, check your bank statements.

You can find a list of past transactions for debit or credit cards you added to Google Wallet. You can also search for your past transactions. Learn how to search for items in Google Wallet.

Find transactions

To find a transaction for a card:

1. Open the Google Wallet app .
2. To get the card transaction, swipe to select a card.

3. Tap your card.
4. To find your most recent action or transaction, tap Details Activity.
   • Scroll to find all available transactions.

Tip: If you remove a card, you lose transaction history.

Transaction details

When you make a tap to pay transaction with Google Wallet, you get a purchase notification that you have a new transaction. To get the transaction details, tap the notification.

To find past transaction details:

1. Tap the card or pass you want to get transactions for.
2. Tap View more Activity.
3. To get transaction details, find the transaction and tap it.

To turn the purchase notifications on or off:

1. Open the Google Wallet app .
2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Account Wallet settings .
3. Turn purchase notifications on or off.

Enable location permission to get detailed receipts

Important: To find the location of your tap to pay transactions, enable location permission on the Google Wallet app.

1. On your device, open the Settings app.

2. Tap Apps.

3. Select Google Wallet.

   • If you can't find it, tap See all apps.

4. Tap Permissions.

5. For “Location,” select Allow only while using the app.

   • When you enable this setting, you can find the location data for new transactions.

   • You can check your transactions on the Google Wallet website.
