Manage & publish your VR180 media

You can save, back up, or delete your virtual reality content with the VR180 app. You can also publish VR videos to YouTube from your phone.

Back up your content

If you’re running out of space on your camera, back up your VR images. Then you can delete them from your phone because they’re saved somewhere else.

Tip: Videos take up more storage than pictures. If you’re short on space and can’t record a new video, you may be able to take a few pictures.

To your phone

  1. On your Android phone, open the VR180 app VR180.
  2. At the top, tap View All.
  3. Select the picture or video you want to save.
  4. Tap Download Download.

To Google Photos

  1. On your Android phone, open the VR180 app VR180.
  2. Select the image or video you want to store.
  3. Tap Share Share and then Open in Google Photos.

To your computer

You can use a USB cable to move pictures and videos from your phone to your computer. Find out how to transfer files.

Delete your content

From your camera

  1. On your Android phone, open the VR180 app VR180.
  2. At the top, tap View all.
  3. Select the picture or video you want to remove.
  4. Tap Delete Delete.

From your phone

  1. On your Android phone, open the VR180 app VR180.
  2. Under "Saved photos and videos," select the image or video you want to remove.
  3. Tap Delete Delete.

Save & publish videos

You can store your VR videos on YouTube. Then you can share them with others.

Note: Check to see if you have the YouTube app on your device. If you don’t, you can find it in the Play Store.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app Photos.
  2. Select the VR video you want to save.
  3. Tap Share Share.
  4. Select YouTube YouTube .
  5. Tap Create channel.
  6. Type a title and description for your video.
  7. Tap Upload Upload.
