See your photos and videos
You can use different devices to view VR pictures and videos.
View VR images through a headset
Use a Cardboard or Cardboard-ready headset
- On your phone, open a VR-ready app, like:
- VR180
- Google Photos
- YouTube
- VR180
- Select the content you want to view.
- Google Photos: Find the photo you want to view, and then tap Interactive view

- Tap Enter virtual reality mode
. If you don’t see it, check that you have the latest version of your app.
- Put the phone into your headset, and then put on the headset.
Use a Daydream headset
- On your phone, open the Daydream app
.
- Tap Enter virtual reality mode
.
- Put your phone into your headset, and then put on the headset.
- In the headset, open a VR-ready app, like:
- Google Photos
- YouTube
- Google Photos
- Select the content you want to view.
Use a Lenovo Mirage Solo headset
- Put on your Lenovo Mirage Solo headset.
- To turn on the headset, press the Power button.
- Open a VR-ready app, like:
- Google Photos
- YouTube
- Google Photos
- Select the content you want to view.
View VR images on your computer or smart TV
If you don’t have a VR-ready device, you can still look at virtual reality images on your computer or television. The pictures and videos will appear in 2D.
- On your computer, open a web browser, like Chrome or Safari.
- Visit a supported website, like:
- photos.google.com
- youtube.com
- Sign in to your account.
- Select the content you want to view.
- To move the images around, click and drag the mouse.
- You can stream your content to your TV if you have a Chromecast or another Cast-enabled device.
