You can use different devices to view VR pictures and videos.

View VR images through a headset

Use a Cardboard or Cardboard-ready headset

  1. On your phone, open a VR-ready app, like:
    • VR180 VR180
    • Google Photos Photos
    • YouTube YouTube
  2. Select the content you want to view.
    • Google Photos: Find the photo you want to view, and then tap Interactive view Interactive view.
  3. Tap Enter virtual reality mode VR mode. If you don’t see it, check that you have the latest version of your app.
  4. Put the phone into your headset, and then put on the headset.

Use a Daydream headset

  1. On your phone, open the Daydream app Daydream View.
  2. Tap Enter virtual reality mode VR mode.
  3. Put your phone into your headset, and then put on the headset.
  4. In the headset, open a VR-ready app, like:
    • Google Photos Photos
    • YouTube YouTube
  5. Select the content you want to view.

Use a Lenovo Mirage Solo headset

  1. Put on your Lenovo Mirage Solo headset.
  2. To turn on the headset, press the Power button.
  3. Open a VR-ready app, like:
    • Google Photos Photos
    • YouTube YouTube
  4. Select the content you want to view.

View VR images on your computer or smart TV

If you don’t have a VR-ready device, you can still look at virtual reality images on your computer or television. The pictures and videos will appear in 2D.

  1. On your computer, open a web browser, like Chrome or Safari.
  2. Visit a supported website, like:
    • photos.google.com
    • youtube.com
  3. Sign in to your account.
  4. Select the content you want to view.
    • To move the images around, click and drag the mouse.
    • You can stream your content to your TV if you have a Chromecast or another Cast-enabled device.
