How do you block group text spam with Google Voice? I've started getting a lot of spam texts as part of a group message and GV does not give the option to report as spam or block when the number comes in as part.of a group.
There is no way to block Group texts in Google Voice. This is not broken, it's the way Group messaging works. If you'd like Google to change the behavior and the options, you are welcome to use the website or the app to submit feedback. Perhaps if lot of people bring it up, they may consider it.

All I can suggest is to leave feedback for the Google Voice engineers. You will not receive any response from them, but they do read all feedback to identify issues submitted by their users.

Im getting hit by this spam too, and it's amazing google is doing nothing to fix it. Spammers look for weaknesses to exploit, and this gapping hole in google voice is just going to be exploited more and more if google doesnt act to get ahead of the problem.
How do we leave feedback to google? Can you provide a link or instruction? Are posts such as these not considered feedback? Also, every thread started on this topic get locked. Why is that? wouldnt the clearest way to show this is a problem be to allow everyone to complain in a single thread, so the engineers can see that?

Google has a team that investigates complaints of fraud and scams that they receive from law enforcement and several other sources. There's no way for regular people to send these complaints to Google directly, but they can send them to Bandwidth through the link at http://www.bandwidth.com/acceptable-use-policy ("Click here to report an AUP Concern") and then Bandwidth will escalate to Google if necessary

To leave feedback in the app, hit the menu (≡) and scroll down to Help & feedback. On the web page, click the Question Mark (?) next to the Search bar, and scroll down to Send feedback.

I did figure out a way to block individual numbers in a group text from spam . I saved each number separately as a contact and then blocked the individual numbers.
