I have Google Voice set up to forward text messages I receive to email. Though these text messages are received successfully and promptly by Google Voice, they are not promptly sent to my email. Delays of >30 minutes are common, when I need to receive them in real time. Please investigate this issue and get back to me. The last 4 of my Google Voice number are 0741‬ and I give permission to Google Voice to do whatever they need to do to my account. Thank you!

I have been experiencing delayed email forwarding of voice messages -- happens with my Voice account intermittently.  Some days messages arrive very quickly.  Other days messages arrive in my email inbox many hours after the phone caller recorded his/her message.  VERY IRRITATING.  Have not figured out why it happens or how to fix the issue.  [This happens for me with voicemail audio transcription that is forwarded to my email.  I almost never receive texts so don't know if they are delayed.]

I'm having the same problem. Google Voice voicemail transcript emails are delayed by hours.
This started happening sometime in May 2019.

I have the same problem that others report. GV on my desktop immediately reports incoming text messages, but they are not forwarded to my email until MANY hours later. Interestingly, the emails have a date and time stamp that is close to the actual message time -- but they do not arrive at my email until hours later (so I have "new" mail that arrives, dated the previous day, with a message that was sent the previous day). 

I am using AT&T for cell phone service, GV as my main number, and 1and1 as my email server.

I will perhaps try forwarding messages to a different email address to see if that makes a difference ...

If you are are using a personal Google Voice Account, forwarding to your personal default gmail account then:
If you are an Enterprise Google Voice user (G Suite - GV supplied by your work) then you should reach out to your Enterprise Admin for support. For reference, here's the link to the GSuite Help Forum as well.
 
If you are using a business email address (domain account) then first use this help page:  Manage your business email settings  They also provide a "Contact Us" link (top right)  to help with your business email account.

@Wayne Seltzer 4021  You are not using a personal Google Account that would forward to a Gmail address. Yours is either a domain or G Suite account.   We cannot offer support for those account types here in the consumer GV forum. Please read my previous post and follow the directions.

Apparently, the delay is when sending to a non @gmail address.
Change the "Legacy Google Voice" setting to use my @gmail address instead of another address
and there is no delay.
Strange.
This had been working fine with no delays for years.

@Wayne Seltzer 4021  Thanks for confirming.  You would have to follow-up with your email service provider to determine why they are delaying these emails. It may be a new spam/quarantine filter they have in place that is taking time to block/process the messages before releasing them.

Nope, that's not the problem. For some reason we don't understand, Google Voice is delaying sending notification emails to non-gmail accounts. 
This has been working fine for years. What has changed?
