I need to delete my google voice account 0 Recommended Answers 5 Replies 15 Upvotes

Six years ago, I created a Google Voice account using my work cell phone (at an old job). When I switched jobs 4+ years ago, I deactivated the number and thought I was done. In the last two weeks I have started receiving more messages from Google Voice to the OLD number that I thought was deleted years ago. I don't want this number to be active anymore. I don't want to be linked to that number. If it's impossible to be Unlinked from the number, I want to change my account settings so I no longer receive messages from this number. I need someone at Google to help because ZERO of the topics in the help forums are relevant to my situation.
