I am trying to send a message with only the emoji in the message and I'm getting a message that is saying that it was not successful delivered. Is it something that I need to do something the make it go through or the app do not allow a person to send an emoji.

Please reply with these things, and I can get this investigated for you.
  1. Confirm or post from the same Google account that is/was used for Google Voice, so Google Voice engineering can find it.
  2. Give Google Voice staff explicit permission to review your account.
  3. Post the last four digits of your GV phone number with the problem. 
  4. What version of the GV app are you using.
  5. What is device make/model and OS version.
  6. Please provide a screenshot showing the error.

I give you permission to access my account. The last of the number is 8711. Google voice version is 2019.16.244895543 (612081) on a Samsung galaxy s9 plus.

I have same issue in google voice app. Happens on iPhone XR, LG G6, and iPad. Add text and the emoji goes through, try to send just emoji and it fails.  The failure is near instant, I have seen texts fail occasionally when the receiver has a problem, but the error on sending just emojis pops up immediately upon hitting send.

Same problem. By themselves when sending just emojis I get an unable to deliver message error, if I add text the message goes through but the recipient doesn't see emojis.

While in group messaging no one can see the emoticons. They say it's just x's and o's.

I'm having the same problem. I've sent several "Feedbacks" via the GV app with no response from anyone. 

This seems to be an ongoing issue with numerous GV subscribers across multiple forums and no one from Google, Alphabet, whomever, is addressing this issue. 

How do we get this escalated (or at the very least acknowledged) by someone from the actual Google team and not someone hosting (attempting to, but horribly failing to answer this question) a user forum?

I hereby give whatever permission a Google Voice Engineer requires of my GV account to adequately and successfully solve this issue.

Same here. If I put the exact same emojis in with text, it gets delivered. If I try to send an emoji-only message, I get that error.
