Received email "We noticed that you haven’t used your Google Voice number in a while. Because phone numbers are a limited resource, it is our policy to reclaim unused numbers so they can be made available to new users." Telling me to sign in or account would be terminated. I signed in. It was still terminated!

It appears there is no recourse or person to contact regarding this.

Thanks for posting in the Google Voice Community Forum
After your number is reclaimed, your messages are still in your Voice account, but you can't get calls or texts. After the reclaim date, you have 30 days when you can get your Voice number back.
  1. On your computer, go to voice.google.com.
  2. Sign in to your Google Account.
  3. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  4. Search by city or area code for your number.
  5. Next to your number, click Select. Follow the instructions.
If you don't see your number in the search results, make sure you're signed in to the Google Account where it was linked before.
If it asks you to select a number, type in your number in the format "+1xxxyyyzzzz"
When you attempt to recover the number, you must submit a new and different forwarding phone number. It cannot be a VoIP number.  If the forwarding number is eligible, then you should be able to recover your GV number.
You can then re-add any forwarding numbers you want to use, and optionally, delete the number you used as eligibility to reclaim your GV number.

Your response is not an answer to my question. I was told I needed to be active on my account, and I was. The fact that it was disabled after this indicates an issue with the automated system.

I also am asking that Google note this and reinstate my number. Not that I have to initiate a new request to request my number by providing another number.

I've also already tried this and it accepts my validation phone number, then fails to provide my number back.

There's obviously a breakdown in how the activity verification is being performed as well as the requesting it back.

That's correct. I performed the actions detailed by the email, yet my account was still deactivated.

"Your response is not an answer to my question."  My reply was an answer to your question based on "I signed in. It was still terminated"  . Once your account is reclaimed, you have 30 days to recover it. 
As @John of Lower Merion said.. signing in is not activity.

My situation is similar but WORSE.

I have a Google Suite account, where I'm paying the monthly fee for that honor, and extra storage, that my Google Voice number was attached to.  I'm a PAYING CUSTOMER.

I now see within my (flooded) inbox, 40 days past the expiry date, that Google has shut off the phone number for my account!  Which by the way, still has a $10 phone credit toward calls.  

It's one thing to do this to FREE accounts, but to treat your PAYING account holders this way is so frickin' Google!  Your services just disappear.  POOF!

If Google was truly professional, you would have sent TO IT'S PAYING SUITE CUSTOMERS multiple emails about the impending changes.  

And it's a Voice product, with text and voice, so you could have automated those to your PAYING ACCOUNT HOLDERS too.  Idiots.

I certainly thought that my Voice account was safe because every year I updated it with the $10 phone credit.

I've contacted the Suite support, and they say there is a new phone product they are pitching for a minimum of $10 per month.  Well, gee, wouldn't it have been professional to send me that information IN ADVANCE so I could transfer over the existing number that I already have documented ON MY GOOGLE BUSINESS SUITE INFORMATION on my printed business documents!!!!!!    

This could have been all so easy for your PAYING CUSTOMERS, but instead, I have to wait to sign-up for the paid Voice service (you say 90 days, so my number MAY be put back in the pool of available numbers..... Grrrrr... And if it's NOT?)   You've blown it for yourselves.  Instead of my buying into the paid Voice, you're losing out on 3 months of funds...... and maybe more, because this is total bullshit and I don't want this kind of treatment to continue from someone I'm PAYING.

If you have any suggestion on how to my $10 phone credit refunded, I'm listening.

The Google Voice account you had was a consumer account that you used with your G Suite account. Your account got reclaimed because of inactivity (signing in is not activity) and for some reason you never acted on the emails. Regardless, please review this page for Google Voice Refunds & Billing Issues
