How to remove myself from group someone else created

I was added to a chat group involuntarily and can't get out, can't remove myself from it.

By that, I mean that they start a new group chat and that they do not add you to the new chat.

Welcome to the forum.

The only way to do that is to ask the group to abandon the group chat and start another without you.

By that you mean withdrawing their phones numbers somehow or just not using the chat

You can mark a group chat as Spam. This will prevent notifications, but you'll still be able to view the chat in your Spam folder. This can be a last resort, if they refuse to start a new chat without you in it.
