Incoming Google Voice text delayed in arriving from 30 minutes to hours later. 0 Recommended Answers 1 Reply 8 Upvotes

I've been using Google Voice texting and phone app for years without any issues. Sometime after the last Verizon update (3 days ago), I started experiencing these incoming text delays. After speaking to Verizon support and doing a few uninstalls and reinstalls, the tech concluded it was a Google Voice issue, not Verizon's. Outgoing text messages work totally fine, but incoming text are delayed in showing up for 30 minutes to hours later. This is happening on Android phone as well as PC desktop version of Google Voice. Also, forwarding text to my email either doesn't work at all or is equally delayed. I briefly activated that feature and got no emails. Any suggestions/fixes/workarounds would be greatly appreciated.
