If you have a Google Workspace account for work or school, you can host a three-way call with Google Voice. Sign in to your Google Workspace account.
You can merge two calls together to create a three-way call.
Important: You can't merge with a call to emergency services, directory assistance or your own number.
Add and merge a new call
- On your computer, while you're on a Google Voice call, click Add.
- In your contact list, find the person you want to transfer the call to.
- If the person isn't a contact, enter their number.
- Click the person's name or number.
- The original call is placed on hold.
- A call is made to the second person.
- To merge the two calls into a three-way call, click Merge.
Merge from a call waiting scenario
To merge two calls into a three-way call, when one call is active and another is on hold, click Merge.
Exit a three-way call
In a three-way call:
- To exit the call and leave the other two participants connected, click End call.
- To end the call for all participants and exit, click End for all.
