Setting when your phones should ring

You can set a custom ring schedule to determine when your phone or computer (if you’re using Call Phone in Gmail) rings.

Users with a Google Voice number
  1. Sign in to Google Voice at voice.google.com.
  2. Click Settings Settings and then Settings.
  3. Select the Phones tab.
  4. Under the phone that you want to set a ring schedule for, click Edit.
  5. Click Show advanced settings.
  6. In the Ring Schedule section, select your option using the radio buttons. To make sure a phone doesn't ring at a specific time of the day, select Use custom schedule and enter your time range.
  7. At the bottom, click Save.
Users without a Google Voice number
At this time, users with a Google Voice Lite account are unable to set custom ring schedules.
  1. Sign in to Google Voice at voice.google.com.
  2. Click Settings Settings and then Settings.
  3. Select the Call Forwarding tab.
  4. Under the phone that you want to set a ring schedule for, click Edit.
  5. Click Show advanced settings.
  6. In the Ring Schedule section, select your option using the radio buttons. To make sure a phone doesn't ring at a specific time of the day, select Use custom schedule and enter your time range.
  7. At the bottom, click Save.
 

Modify your timezone

You can set the time zone where you're located, by going to the Account tab on the Settings page and selecting your time zone from the drop-down menu. 

If you're using Ring Schedule, the time settings will depend on the time zone you've selected.
