Record calls or switch phones during a call
During a Google Voice call you can record the conversation or switch phones.
- On your computer, open Google Voice.
- At the top left, click Menu
Settings.
- On the left, click Calls.
- Turn on Incoming call options.
Record a call
Note: All participants must be on the call before you can start recording.
- Answer a call to your Google Voice number.
- To start recording, tap 4. All participants hear an announcement that the recording has begun.
- To stop recording, tap 4. All participants hear an announcement that the recording has ended.
- Hanging up also ends the recording.
You can find your recordings in the Voicemail tab.
Switch phones during a call
- Answer a call to your Google Voice number.
- Tap Star (*). The other phones that are set up to take your Google Voice calls will ring.
- Pick up the call on the phone you want to use.
