What is the difference between a visitor and a visit?
Any unique user on your site is considered a visitor. A visit specifies the period of time between the moment a user opens his browser and closes it. Keep in mind that a visit can also be counted when a browser is left inactive for a specified amount of time before the user returns to the site.
