Hi,

Try this, Force disable the app and enable it again. Then enable all permission settings on the app and see it fix the issue. Also, if you have multiple accounts on your device, try sign in with different account.

Thanks,
VJ

We covered this ; Search the community;
Again one of the following is the reason:
  • Low RAM;
  • An adblocker or antivirus;
  • Firewall blocking Translate
  • Your account is restricted (for that you need to test on Chrome)
  • Android version not updated;

One of these is the cause, typically it would below RAM

It's a Google issue (Android provides internet access to Chrome but not to Translate). None of the permissions relate to internet access.

@User 7650679132575626330;
As I explained this is either a user account issue (restricted- trying to "game" the system : too many translations? copyrights?) or a device issue(as explained above)

Have the exact same problem and nothing the devs have suggested for 2 years have worked to fix it, apart from NOT using your Google account. If you use the app "without an account" then the problem all of a sudden disappears.

“Have the exact same problem and nothing the devs have suggested for 2 years have"

This means that Google restricts your access to Translate
