Manage service alerts

See the following sections for information on viewing, creating, editing, or deleting manually created service alerts.

View all of your alerts

  1. In the Transit Data Sharing Portal, click Manual service alerts on the left side of the page.
  2. All of your alerts will be displayed in the table on the page.

Create an alert

  1. In the Transit Data Sharing Portal, click Manual service alerts on the left side of the page.
  2. On the page that opens, click Create alert, then fill out of the following details:
    1. Pipeline
    2. Alert active periods
    3. Affected entities (if applicable)
    4. Problem details, including causes and effects
    5. Language of the content in the alert
  3. Once you're done, click Create. Your alert will be published immediately.  

Edit an alert

  1. In the Transit Data Sharing Portal, click Manual service alerts on the left side of the page.
  2. In the alerts table, click the alert that you want to edit. 
  3. In the page that opens, click Edit alert.
  4. Once you're done, click Save edits. Your edits will be published immediately.

Delete an alert

  1. In the Transit Data Sharing Portal, click Manual service alerts on the left side of the page.
  2. In the alerts table, click the three-dot icon in the row of an alert and select Delete alert. The alert is immediately removed.
