Manage Google Toolbar

You can choose your Google Toolbar settings, including your language, turn off tracking your search history, and whether to share your location.

Choose your language

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. On Google Toolbar, click Options Options.
  3. Go to General and then "Language setting."
  4. Select a language.
  5. Click Save.

Turn off search history settings

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. On Google Toolbar, click Options Options.
  3. In the "Search features" section, uncheck "Store search history on my computer."
  4. Click Save.

Track & share your location

You can track your location to get local search results, such as reviews for nearby restaurants.

  1. Open Internet Explorer.
  2. On Google Toolbar, click Options Options.
  3. Click Tools.
  4. Check My Location.
  5. Click Save.
