Clear your Toolbar search history

You can clear your Google Toolbar search history at any time. You can also turn off Toolbar search history to prevent future searches from being stored in Toolbar.

Clear your Toolbar search history

  1. Go to the Toolbar search box.
  2. Click the drop-down arrow, and select Clear History.

I don't see Clear History

If you don’t see the Clear History link at the bottom of the drop-down, try typing a single letter in the search box. If you still don't see Clear History, you might not have any history to clear or you previously turned off Toolbar search history.

Turn off Toolbar search history

  1. On the right side of the Toolbar, click the wrench
  2. Under the "Search features" section, untick "Store search history on my computer."
  3. Click Save.

Now Toolbar won't store your future searches.
