Get started with Google Toolbar

Browse the web faster using Google Toolbar. With Toolbar, you can search Google from any webpage, fill out web forms automatically, translate webpages, and more. If you don't have it already, you can download Toolbar now.

How to use Toolbar

The Toolbar appears at the top of your Internet Explorer browser window. Using the Toolbar search box and buttons, you can do all kinds of things:

Find search terms faster

Start typing a word into the Toolbar search box. Toolbar Instant will automatically show you popular search results that begin with those letters. Keep typing more letters until you see the term you want. Learn more about instant results.

View bookmarked pages from any computer

Save your favorite website links to Google Bookmarks. To get to your bookmarks from any computer, go to Toolbar's Bookmarks menu. Learn more about managing bookmarks.

Translate webpages into more than 40 languages

Instantly translate a specific word or an entire webpage. You can also set Toolbar to automatically translate webpages for you. Learn more about translating webpages and translating words.

Fill out web forms automatically

Create an online profile in AutoFill. Once you have a profile, you’ll be able to fill out forms just by clicking the AutoFill button. You can create separate profiles for work and home. Learn more about AutoFill.

Check your spelling

Correct spelling on emails, forms, and other web-based content. Learn more about Spell check.

Recommend pages and share your interests

Publicly recommend a page on the web using the +1 button. The button will turn red when you +1 a page. You can also use the +1 button to share webpages with your friends. Learn more about the +1 button.

See Google+ notifications any time

Stay updated on your recent Google+ activity, if you have Google+. The notification button will automatically show up on the Toolbar whenever you are signed in to a Google+ account. Learn more about Google+ notifications

Access your Toolbar settings on any computer
