Use Tez branding

To promote Tez to your customers, use these approved Tez creative assets and guidelines.

By downloading or using the Tez Trademarks (Tez™ and the Tez logos provided below) in any manner, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions of use. If you don't agree with any term, we request that you don't use the Tez Trademarks.  

You're only granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license, without the right to sublicense or assign, to electronically access and use the Tez Trademarks for the express purpose of showing Tez as a payment option to your users.  

How to use

You may use the Tez Trademarks to accurately refer to the Tez product, as long as such reference is appropriate and consistent with our trademark guidelines. You may use only approved versions of the Tez Trademarks. Follow all of the general trademark use guidelines. The trademark guidelines apply even to marks that were previously (but are no longer) used for the product.

Use the ™ symbol the first or most prominent time Tez™ appears in a creative or email. Note: You aren't required to use the ™ symbol with the logo or lockups.

Instances where Tez Trademarks can be used include on:

  • In-store signage at the check-out
  • The checkout or payment page of your website or app
  • Communications such as emails, fliers, or advertising to users to show that you accept Tez for payments

How not to use

You cannot use, incorporate, or combine any of the Tez Trademarks into a third-party brand name, product name, business name, trade name, or slogan. You agree that by using the Tez Trademarks you don't acquire any rights, title, or interest in the Tez Trademarks. 

You cannot claim trademark rights in any of the Tez Trademarks, or any marks confusingly similar to the Tez Trademarks.

You cannot use any of our marks in a way that suggests Google or our Tez product endorses you or is affiliated with you. For example, you cannot use our marks:

  • In domain names
  • As an app icon, or incorporated into an app icon
  • ​As the most prominent elements on your website or marketing materials
  • On merchandise, business cards, or business stationery
  • ​In-product reviews

Tez as a payment option

To feature Tez as a payment method on your website or app payment page, use the following logo lockups:

Horizontal logo lockup

  • Minimum size: 52 dp @ 1x
  • Minimum safe area: At least 1/8th the width of the symbol

Branding guidelines

Make sure you use the following logo and lockup branding guidelines. Note: These guidelines apply even to creative assets that were previously used by Tez.

  • Only use approved Tez creative assets.
  • Make sure the Tez logo or payment selection is at least the same size as other payment types on your website or app.
  • Do not use the Google logo along with the Tez logo.
  • Do not overlap the Tez logo with other buttons or interface elements, or next to them. Make sure you leave adequate spacing around the logo.
