Google Trusted Stores

Available for UK, France, Germany, Australia, and Japan.

Google Trusted Stores is a free certification program that helps shoppers discover online stores that consistently offer a great shopping experience. Once certified, your store is recognized with a badge that shows shoppers that your business is highly rated by your customers, offers reliable shipping, and delivers great customer service. This badge also shows with your Product Listing ads on Google Shopping.

As part of the program, Google collects feedback from verified customers who opt in to take a survey about their shopping experience at your store. This customer feedback contributes to your seller rating, which shows on your Trusted Stores badge, with your ads on Google Shopping and your AdWords text ads.

The Trusted Stores template in Google Tag Manager currently does not work for U.S. merchants. We are working on an implementation for U.S. merchants that is coming soon.

If you are a merchant in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, or Japan, you can use Google Tag Manager to add the Google Trusted Stores badge code to your site. Please note that while Google Tag Manager takes care of the badge code, you will still need to add the order confirmation module on your order confirmation page to complete the technical integration for Google Trusted Stores.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Click New.
  2. Enter a tag name (e.g. Google Trusted Stores Tag.)
  3. Click Tag Configuration and select Google Trusted Stores.
  4. Complete the form using your Google Trusted Stores account details. See the table below for more details.
  5. Set a trigger to have the tag fire on all pages.
  6. Save the tag configuration.
  7. Publish.
