Variable

A variable is a placeholder that stores a value that can be used by a tag or trigger. Variables can be used to define the criteria for when a trigger will fire or to capture dynamic event values that are used by tags. Tag Manager provides a set of commonly used built-in variables, and you can create your own user-defined variables to meet your specific requirements.
