Accepted payment methods

To buy from the Google Store, you will need to add a payment method (such as a credit or debit card).

  • If you’re signed in to your Google Account, the payment method is saved so that you don't have to enter the information again.
  • If you’re not signed in, your payment methods aren’t saved.

After you've added a payment method, you can edit it or add another.

If you’re signed in to your Google Account:

  • American Express
  • MasterCard
  • Visa
  • Discover (US only)

Payment methods that you can't use

  • Wire transfers, bank transfers, Western Union, MoneyGram or any escrow type of payment.
  • Virtual Credit Cards (VCC), Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and public transport cards.
  • Google Play balance or Google Play gift cards.
