The first time you buy an item on the Google Store, you may be asked to add a payment method. You'll need to enter your name, address, phone number, and credit card details. This will add the payment method to your Google Account so you don't have to enter the information again when you make other purchases.
You can also add a payment method now, and it'll already be in place when you're ready to buy something.
Accepted payment methods
You can use the following debit/credit cards:
- American Express
- Discover (US only)
- JCB (Japan and US only)
- Visa Electron (outside the US only)
Payments on the Google Store can't use:
- Wire transfers, bank transfers, Western Union, MoneyGram, or any escrow type of payment.
- Virtual Credit Cards (VCC), Health Savings Accounts (HSA), and transit cards.
- Google Play balance or Google Play gift cards.
