To make purchases from the Google Store, you must add a valid form of payment.

Change your Google Store payment method
You can update the payment method set up for Google Store before you make a purchase. Once you make a purchase, you can no longer change your payment method.
- On Google Store, go to your Account Settings.
- Next to “Payment method,” select Edit payment methods.
- Make changes to your form of payment.
Tip: You can find your Google Store and Google Play credit balances on your Account Settings page.

Accepted payment methodsIf you’re signed in to your Google Account, you can choose a saved payment method, edit it, or add another.
These forms of payment are acceptable when you're signed into your Google Account:
- American Express
- Discover (US only)
- Google Pay balance (US and UK only)
- Google Store credit (Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, UK, and US)
- Google Store Financing
- JCB (Japan and US only)
- MasterCard
- PayPal (Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and UK except for guest checkout; Australia, Japan, and US)
- Visa
- Visa Electron (outside the US only)
These forms of payment are for guest checkout:
- American Express
- Discover (US only)
- JCB (Japan and US only)
- MasterCard
- Visa
