Recycle your old and unused devices

Google is creating a better web that's better for the environment. When you buy new electronic devices from the Google Store, we can help you find recycling locations for your old electronics.

Before recycling your electronics, we recommend protecting your personal information by resetting your devices to their factory settings and clearing your data. You can find factory reset instructions for most devices online. For more information, please check with your local recycling facility.

Mail your device to be recycled (US only)

Google offers a US-wide mail-back program through its partner, Reverse Logistics Group Americas (RLGA), for Google's customers to return some Google-branded products for free recycling. To use the mail-back program, follow the steps below:

  1. Request a shipping label from RLGA.
  2. After you receive the label, safely pack your product and attach the label.
  3. Send your eligible electronic device for responsible recycling.

Find local collection sites
