If you trade in your old device when you buy a new device from the Google Store, you can get credit back.
You can trade in your old device in these countries and regions:
- Australia
- Austria
- Belgium
- Canada
- France
- Germany
- India
- Ireland
- Italy
- Japan
- The Netherlands
- Spain
- The United Kingdom
- The United States
You can only trade in your device during checkout. You can't add a trade-in after you buy your new device.
How to trade in your old device when you buy a new one
- Go to the Google Store.
- Choose the Pixel device that you want.
- Select Buy.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to choose your new device's:
- Colour
- Storage space, if applicable
- To tell us about your old device, select Get estimate.
- Tell us about your device to check the estimated value for the trade-in.
- If you don't find your device's manufacturer, model or storage size on the list, you can't trade it in.
- You can't change what you told us about your old device after you buy the new device, so be careful.
- The first estimated value is based on what you told us about your device and may include extra money because of special deals.
- The final trade-in value is based on how your old device compares to your description.
- Any differences between the information that you provide and your device's actual model and condition may impact the device's final trade-in value.
- Before you can continue, you need to tick the box that says 'I understand that this trade-in programme is operated by PCS Wireless' and accept the Trade-in Terms and Conditions.
- Important: If the final value of your trade-in device is less than 75% of the estimated value, PCS will return the device to you.
- To add your trade-in device, select Add trade-in.
- To receive the estimated trade-in value as provided, you must send your trade-in device to PCS within 30 days of receiving the new device, provided that the new device has not been returned during that time. Your trade-in expires completely 75 days after your new device is dispatched. After 75 days, PCS will return any trade-in device that you send.
- Choose your Pixel device coverage plan or select Skip.
- To add the new device to your shopping basket, select Add to basket.
- Keep shopping or select Go to basket.
- To complete your order and get ready to trade in your device, choose your payment method.
- Select Proceed to checkout.
- If you have access to instant trade-in, your total trade-in value is displayed at the checkout page. This amount is applied as an up front discount to your total order.
- When you confirm your order, you'll get an email that tells you how to trade in your device.
- If you trade in your old device and don't get an email within 24 hours, contact Google Store support.
