Learn how to verify your identity for a trade-in (Australia and Japan only)

To comply with local regulation, you’re required to verify your identity to receive a trade-in kit to send back your old phone.
During your purchase, you’ll be informed about how your identity is verified. Your identity can be verified through:
- Your phone when you check online before the kit is delivered to you.
- Japan only: The delivery provider, Japan Post, on kit delivery.
To complete the identity verification, use the verification method assigned to you during your purchase. The assigned verification method can't be changed.
