In order for Japan Post to deliver the trade-in kit, identification verification is required. The verification method can't be changed from the verification method assigned to you during your purchase. For verification purposes, the name and address provided at the time of order must exactly match the government-issued identification provided.
If we can’t deliver your trade-in kit due to name, address mismatch or other reasons, you’ll get an email with a form to confirm your name and address for the delivery of a new trade-in kit. You can access this form directly from the email or from the order history page.
- Go to your “Order History” page.
- Select View Trade-in details.
- Select Request new trade-in kit.
- If you don’t find this option, contact our support team.
Important:
- You can only request a new kit if there are delivery issues with your original kit.
- Only one new kit can be requested per order.
- The trade-in kit must be sent to the address that matches the government-issued identification you’ve provided for verification.
